this is my first mechanical keyboard and im loving it so far. very easy to use. i think i even type faster on this.
The keyboard is amazing, but the caps are not transparent, so you would mostly look for different caps, because at the dark you will only see the lights, not the caps. You can see that in the posted photo compared to another RGB keyboard.
I still recommend getting this cool keyboard.

The keyboard (brown switches) has a good sound out of the box but a bit too loud for an office environment. I was intending to replace keycaps and switches even before I ordered, but decided at the last moment not to get the barebones version because it was the first time for me modifying a keyboard.
First off, I ordered the Tcc frozen silent switches which transformed the whole keyboard and made it silent, more silent even than a laptop keyboard and suitable for an office environment. I also replaced the keycaps with the Hippo Pbt keycaps which made it look great. After this I still noted a clacky sound of the stabilizers so in the end I replaced those too, although just lubricating the current one would also have helped. It is quite exciting to disassemble a keyboard fully for the first time but it all worked out and I am really happy with the keyboard.
Also, I used a keychron k8 (not pro) keyboard before, but that one had some problems with Linux that required workarounds. That one also had some delay reconnecting to my laptop after leaving my desk for a while. The k8 pro I have now does not have any of these problems. I also modded the spacebar by putting 2 layers of painting tape inside to make it more silent. The case of the keychron k8 pro is really well designed since it allow really silent keyboards to be made.
Spent quite some money in total, but all in all really happy. This is the best keyboard now I have ever owned.
