compact, quiet, and comfortable

This keyboard, while not being the most expensive I bought over the last ~5 years, either for myself or for clients of my PC building side-hustle, it by far one of the better ones. I hope the durability will be as great as what the feel of the quality suggests.
The switches I chose also feel very good and the actuation force is enjoyably light despite being a heavier switch (Optical-mechanical Mint). Compared to the brown (fully mechanical)or banana (optical mechanical) switch which I have tried from at colleagues desks, it is noticeably heavier but it is to its benefits as it is harder to do a keystroke by accident.
I however would recommend writers and coders who do long hours to go for a lighter switch type as this keyboard has felt a little more tiring to use compared to the traditional mx-brown or mx-red switch i used before.

The wireless feature, while not the first thing I looked to have has some distinct advantages. Being able to take the keyboard into the meeting rooms to write notes, or always having your keyboard without the hassle of a cable in a flex-office environment is great! The bluetooth is very easy to operate and functions well and the battery life has been very solid in my experience, 2 days at work at least, I haven't tried longer on bluetooth yet. Broken down, the 24h day looks like this: typing for ~5h, idling the keyboard for 1-2 hours in a day, sleepmode the other 16-17h in the day. the sleepmode kicks in after 10min without keypresses, which is an adequate amount but can sometimes be a little frustrating when having longer breaks between keystrokes, for example when colleagues regularly walk in to have a chat, ask for help or otherwise getting a coffee, as the keyboard first needs to wake-up and then reconnect with the host device. I kept the backlight on the entire on battery although it was on minimum brightnes.

Great keyboard overall! 10/10 would recommend.

Premium feeling

This keyboard really feels great and premium, very nice and solid design, battery life without rgb backlight is very good, typing feels so good. This is great that you can connect to multiple devices and the switch button between mac and windows, exactly what I needed.
My only problem is it doesn’t have height adjusters, and also I would like it more if the keys were more soft.
In general very good, I like it and use it as my daily keyboard for gaming(windows) and also work(macbook)

Excellent keyboard

One of the most vfm keyboards I have used

keyboard feels awesome. I use it in a wireless mode. And this experience is not so great, as it could be. I've previously used logitech k380, also wireless, but membrane keyboard. It's connectivity with device better, and after it was in a sleep mode, wakes up faster and do not miss pressed keys. Probably, it record pressed key, and than later sending to the device, after it was reconnected. I don't know. I know only, that with logitech I did not noticed, how it wakes up, and with keychron I'm noticing that. Another issue - for me battery life is too short. I have to charge it once in 2-3 days. Logitech device use batteries, and can keep year+ without changing them. Other than that - experience is awesome.

Compared with other mechanical keyboards, it requires less force and uses less finger travel, which reduces finger fatigue and provides an unmatched typing comfortability.

Many current Mac keyboards are not mechanical, Keychron is one of the few that features macOS function keys (F1 to F12) in a Mac layout with the same as conventional Mac systems.

K1's Layout

Keychron is here to make typing easier and better. The Keychron keyboard offers several different key quantities, an 87 key layout and improved layout on new version, to best meet your needs.

Compatible with both iOS/macOS and Windows/Android, simply switch between the operating systems with the toggle on the side. Check high resolution layout.

Mechanical Or Optical?

Available in Gateron mechanical and Keychron optical low profile switch to elevate the typing experience with a more slimmer and subtle look, the K1 provides an excellent typing performance, whether you prefer linear (Red), clicky (Blue), or something in between (Brown, Banana, Mint).

Low-Profile Mechanical

Durable and ultra-slim low profile Gateron Mechanical switch with a 50 million keystroke lifespan to provide an unrivaled tactile responsiveness. K1 was designed to boost your productivity yet meets your desktop aesthetics perfectly. Classic clicky tactile or quicker response, for office or personal gaming, the Gateron low profile is the way to choose.

Low-Profile Optical

With the MX-styled stem housing and 0.2 ms ultra-low latency, these light actuated switches are crafted for typists or gamers who want to type at lightning speed with a 70 million lifespan much greater than industry standards.

The Banana and Mint switches comes with an early tactile bump of every downstroke like those Panda switches, that’s the main difference between the Banana/Mint and the Brown switch. More add-on switches here.

*Hot-swappable feature is available for low profile Keychron Optical switch version only. *Low Profile Keychron Optical and Low Profile Gateron mechanical version keyboards are NOT compatible with any normal profile mx style mechanical switch.
