I honestly don't know how it has so many good reviews. It is a dust/hair magnets. Is not my first thing in silicone (for example phone cover) so I already tried what I tried for those: wash it with warm water etc trying to reduce the static, but no success. It attracts dust and hairs. For the price it's very disappointed.
Ended up ordering some wood palm rest from amazon.
Got it on black friday sale for a decent price. Comparing to other brands it feels sturdy and great. Pretty happy with my purchase!
It is a comfortable palm rest. Though, pricy.
The palm rest does what it needs to do and the shape is very comfortable. It's soft and smooth to the touch, but has enough grip to keep your palms in place on the curved surface. That said I had expected a little more polish from a Keychron prodcut. It doesn't fit flush with the lower edge of the keyboard, presumably because other keyboards have slightly different heights, and the color doesn't match either grey on my keyboard, it has a more greenish hue. Those things aren't really issues, but would still have been nice. Moving over the surface in the top half of the palm rest I can feel some stair stepping on the curve left from the surface of the milled mold. The palm rest also has two small dimples near the Keychron logo that I plan to remove with a razor.
Lastly I was a bit dissapointed with the purchase experience. I could not find the grey version for sale in Denmark, so I looked at Keychrons website from other countries. I found the palm rest slightly cheaper on the American web shop, but opted to order from Germany instead since shipping would be 10-20 days from the US store. The german site didn't mention shipping time, so I assumed it would be sent from a european warehouse and would be delivered within 5 business days or something like that. Shipping ended up taking 15 days instead from China. I just rechecked the german site and if you click on the little question mark next to shipping, it says that shipping directly from China is expected. I would have preferred this being shown like on the US site.
Overall good product, but I deduct one point because I expected a higher level of polish in line with other Keychron products, and one point for the website not being more open about the expected shipping time.
