One of the few Sellers with German Layout - Great quality with a few suprises

I have been looking for a low profile Keyboard with Numpad. The K13 Max had the perfect layout. I wasn't using all the "special keys" anyway. but I really like to type number in my programms with the numpad.
I haven't seen any other brand with this layout.

My secound prio was to get a german ISO layout. Wich is pretty hard to get, so I was happy when I saw the Keychron one and I liked the design.

Shipping took a while and tracking was kinda slow, but it was well packeged.

Since I have used Cherry MX Browns and Reds in the past I wanted to trey the Gateron low profile version. Thats why I got the K13 Max with browns and bought the red switches seperatly.
When I tested them I was very suprised that they sound and feel very much the same. The experience i had in the past red's and brown's felt way more different. That made me kinda upset because I got the browns for a more tactile feel. (i have been using silent reds for years now)

The quality of the switches and changing them was easy to do after watching a video. (just to be safe to not destroy anything).

Software / lighting setup took a while, but once I figured it out with some YouTube videos it was easy to use. Typing felt and (and still ist) great and it made my desk feel so much spacious because the keyboard is so compact and I don't need to use a wrist rest anymore.

My only concern was that the battery wouldn't last as long as i hoped for. Thats why I decided to NOT charge the keyboard at all. And boi it lasted loong.
After a few days the backlight LED turned off and the led under the "B" key started blinking in red. Indicating that the battery was low.
So I continued using the Keyboard to see how long the "low battery" will last. It took me a week or so to get to the point that it turned off while I was typing an email.
So yeah, without LED this one will last probably 2 weeks with ease. What i noticed was that sometimes when typing one key would be pressed a lot of time repedelyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. (looking like this)
As I was using the keyboard with only a few percentages I think it was tied to this. (used the inclued dongle for all the testing)

I charged the keyboard back up and didn't notice this problem. I will watch this, since this could be a really big problem e.g. when gaming, and the keyboard will put out a command a lot of times.
As for now this seems to be a problem since I'm also more used to the keyboard and I don't do typos as much as i used to at the start. (takes some time to get used to the new size when typing fast)

Overall I'm happy and I just hope they add more keycap options in the future. (for ISO German Layout)

Product is good company however is awful

I had an issue with the central Keychron store and I don't think I will recommend this company. The keys are great.

Great tactile feedback!

I have purchased the banana switches. They provide some nice “crisp” tactile feedback - one need to press - ooh! - so gently more in comparison to the brown switches. Almost blue switch crispiness without the noise. Highly recommended!
